Tune in for our recent interview with Ben Stourak from Arcadia Outfitting. We take a deep dive into guiding and its place for new hunters, backpack hunting and the ways you can enjoy the bush more but getting out of the truck as well as our other tips for new hunters.

 

Ben Storak grew up hunting as a kid, but road hunting. He knew next to nothing about the "proper" methods of hunting...wind, stalking in, etc. He started in the guide outfitting industry when he was 15 years old and has been guiding ever since. Now going on 18 years in the industry, Ben has owned his own Outfitting Concession for almost 6 years now, called Arcadia Outfitting Ltd. This has been his dream since he was young, but as luck would have it, Ben and his crew have been hit with an onslaught of challenges since starting the outfit the recent couple of years of global disaster haven't helped much, but thankfully, as the old Cowboy saying goes, "God hates a coward" and Ben certainly wasn't raised a quitter so they are trekking onwards and upwards.
